Weeknight Weave: Weeping Willow Chains

  • Field and Forest Crafts Classroom 12535 15th Avenue Northeast, Ste 120 Seattle, WA, 98125 United States (map)

This is the perfect project to enjoy our friend weeping willow. Though her branches may be a bit too brittle for traditional willow/wicker baskets they are excellent for making delicate wreaths, crowns and chains. Spend the evening making as much…willow…chain…as…you…can! (in 2.5 hours)

Your willow chain will start out a vibrant yellow green but mature to brown through the end of the year. You can string it anywhere - hang your herbs to dry - decorate for the fall season with seedpods and colorful leaves - refresh it with some green boughs and bows in December. Whatever tickles your decorating fancy.

Minimum age: 12

Minimum registration: 6 by Nov 16th. If minimum registration is not reached all students will be notified and offered a full refund.

Class registration is NON-REFUNDABLE. However, if you want to sell or give your spot to a friend, I’m happy to welcome someone else in your place. Due to the nature of the projects (materials/soaking, etc) and the small class sizes, I’m unable to support refunds or credits.
